Optimal allocation of operating rooms

The region of Tuscany has recently approved strict regulations that limit the maximum time that patients can be put on waiting lists before surgery. The thesis goal is to analyze the feasibility of improving the current assignment policy for the Careggi Hospital, by solving an assignment model with patients, surgerons, operating rooms, and several constraints.
