Linfa – Logistica Intelligente per il Farmaco

We are currently working on the Linfa project.  Today we updated two reports (one on forecasting drug consumption, another one on using forecasting and machine learning techniques to help decide the optimal reorder quantity). Leonardo  Di Gangi presented new insights on how to incorporate covariates in a time series model and how to evaluate the performance of a time series forecasting procedure.

Others in the group discussed which “elementary” model to incorporate in a comparison (newsvendor, (s,S) policies, …)
