Can’t believe! we got a paper accepted on the journal of chemical physics

We just received the acceptance notice from jcp https://aip.scitation.org/journal/jcp

Of course we (francesco, luca and myself) had at least a tiny hope to succeed  when we decided to submit our paper on clustering optimization  for atomic clusters to that journal .

But reading the acceptance letter is really a (welcome) shock! This is a very prestigious journal, published since 1933. And it is really out of our comfort zone!

great satisfaction!  The more  so,  given that acceptance arrived (indeed really fast) the day before francesco will defend his PhD thesis.
