Today my master course on “Models and Algorithms for Organization and Management” has finished. I have had a very good class, with quite a lot of students – it has been a great satisfaction for me.

But, differently from previous years, this time we had a very good opportunity: 4 lectures on data science (machine learning, in particular) were given by three of our bright PhD students: Leonardo, Tommaso, Guido. From my point of view (but I am pretty sure, also from the students’ perspective) this has been a really stimulating event: they are expert in the subject, very young, deep in research, and they know very well modern technologies. Their lectures have been a pleasure for me to follow. I regret the course finished!
